The purple plant is Salvia Leucantha ... it's actually two plants, one is just purple and the other is purple and white. I planted it in the fall and it shrunk in the winter but has really done well in the spring. Here's a shot of it from March 18. We have a few wildflowers blooming from the seed you gave us, I'll try to snap some photos soon ...

I think that is actually a sketch of a photo of a plant that I gave you! I basically traced the photo in Adobe Illustrator using the drawing tablet that Kim got me for Christmas.

Those mockingbirds are amazing. One looks like he has a brown catepillar in his mouth because of the green stuff dripping. Also, what are the names of the tall purple flowers in that one photo. Have the wild flowers from the wild flower seeds started blooming yet? I have some blooming, cosmos and somthing I cannot identify. That leaves are hairy looking and bloom is purple. I can’t wait to see what colors all the other flowers will be. I have the wildflower bed around the oak tree in the backyard. You are a fantastic gardener, Brandon!!!

Annette, I got the seed for my datura at Enchanted Forest, it was a seed pack from Botanical Interests, see: http://www.botanicalinterests.com/products/view/1179/Datura-Angel-s-Trumpet-Seed/ … It has a nice scent and the flowers usually open late in the day and stay open until the middle of the next day. It’s quite a prolific re-seeder! I have a lot of little seedlings that I’ve plucked from parts of the garden where I did not want it, if you’re interested, let me know!

We’ve had different kinds of frogs here over the years. I once had one of those rubbery neon green ones.

That’s not the kind of frogs we have here. There was a tiny rubbery-looking neon green frog here about 5 years ago. I took lots of pictures of it. I’ll have to show them to you sometimes. The frogs we have here now are about the size of the frog in your shoe, but they don’t have the same colorings. They’re mostly light brown and not camoflage(sp.)

I agree. What a shame it was when it was cancelled. Finally an American comedy with some brains to it.

1st and 2nd series were brilliant. 3rd was OK, there was some funny parts, but no where near as good as 1 and 2.

Still, even with that I would have liked to see more.

Rubbish like “Two and a half men” get 10s of Millions of viewers, and “Bored to death” gets cancelled? The world is not fair.
