RIP Scott Weiland … from yesterday’s newspaper, “Weiland, the former lead singer of grunge pioneers Stone Temple Pilots, has had an on-again, off-again, amped-up-again career since the breakup of the Pilots and Velvet Revolver. But his new 2015 effort ‘Blaster’ with a new band is some of his strongest work in a decade. His memoir, “Not Dead and Not for Sale,” is a New York Times Bestseller.”
