Goodbye, old blue
I bought a new car today, and traded in the Mazda6, which was the first new car Kim bought back in 2003.
I bought a 2013 Hyundai Accent GS hatchback. It’s great on gas mileage. Follow my adventures of saving gas money on Fuelly.
The baptism photo
Sometimes you miss the shot.
But if you take enough photos, you can piece together the perfect image using Adobe Photoshop. If you’ve got a few hours to burn.
This is a compilation image I created by using Adobe Photoshop to combine four images of the moments when Marshall was being baptized on July 8. The photos were taken by my mother.

Two hands
I took this photo with my Google Nexus S while feeding Marshall.
His hand had rested on mine while he was eating.
The photo was taken a few days after my father told a story about a memory he has of me doing something similar.
It’s moments like this that remind me it’s worth it, and to slow down and enjoy it. All the wiser parents I run into every day tell me it all flies by too fast.
